Oh I do love a bit of blush so I am always keen to try something new. Rimmel are really playing with new textures at the moment and this is their first cream to powder blush. Here’s a look at the Rimmel Royal Blush range with lots of pictures and swatches.

I love all these shades.

It has a lovely melting texture that instantly warms on contact and then softly blends out to a velvety finish. The texture is similar to the Bourjois Cream Blush that came in the little round pots but I don’t think they are that readily available anymore.

The Rimmel Royal Blush is really easy to apply with fingertips and they also work very well with a small buffing brush. If you’re looking for a really fresh, skin like finish in a soft flush of colour, then these certainly do that job. They work very well over the new Rimmel Fresher Skin foundation which I’ll be demonstrating for you soon.

The new cream to powder blushes are £5.99 and available to order HERE at the discounted price of £3.49. I found that they didn’t last the whole day on my skin but as they are so teeny, they are perfectly portable for touch ups on the go. I really like the effect.
