Oooh Rimmel has some exciting new launches coming for Autumn 2014 and I was immediately interested in these rather intriguing Rimmel Provocalips Lip Colours. Loving the name and loving the idea!

So, here’s the Rimmel Provocalips Lip Colour low down. It’s a 2 step lip colour system that promises a “kiss-proof, trouble proof pout”. Sounds good to me!

Step 1:

Step 2:

It feels really lovely on the lips as promised. Mine has only been on for an hour right now, but I shall update this post with how it wears. I can tell it is going to be very long lasting just by applying it as the formula really grips to the lips. Plus I haven’t actually been able to fully remove the swatches on my arm with a regular wipe. They were only there for a couple of minutes but have already stained the skin. It’s a good sign!!
And by the way, it is definitely kiss proof. I tested it!!!!
Rimmel Provocalips Lip Colour will arrive on counter 1st October 2014 for £6.99 (possibly earlier online). I think they are absolutely gorgeous and a really good price. Stay tuned for an update on wear. Find Rimmel at Boots.
UPDATE: These seriously last. I had mine on for 9 hours – it is definitely kiss, food and transfer proof – if you blot, not even a teeny tiny bit comes off. When I went to bed I tried to remove it but it didn’t really want to come off. In fact I went to bed with red lips!!

I like the sound of these, but they look very similar to the MaxFactor ones which I find really drying on my lips.

Love it, but could not get it off, have myself a friction burn on my lips trying to get it off. Please tell me how to get it off
