So Match Perfection by Rimmel London has been reformulated and re-launched and I have to say I am really loving it. I must confess that I haven’t tried the original but am a big fan of the brand’s affordable yet super effective complexion products. Lasting Finish Nude is brilliant. I really like this foundation on my skin. It is good on my enlarged pores and feels very light and comfortable. I am wearing it here with the new Rimmel 24HR Supercurler Mascara and the Collection Contour Kit.

I still have the old formula and I’m not sure what has been changed in this new packaging, Maybe it’s just the packaging not a formula??
But I still love the application on the skin, I love this better than L’oreal true match <3
It now has SPF20 (was lower before) and uses new blurring technology. xxx

I thought I was going crazy when I started using my new bottle, this is my fourth time buying this foundation and I thought something was up. I apply it using a real techniques stippling brush, or a beauty blender if I can be bothered, and I’ve gotta say I’ve found myself using a lot more product to get the same effect from the old formula. It’s a much thicker consistency and I the same amount just doesn’t go as far as it did before.
That being said, I’ve worn it 5 days a week for the past 2 weeks at work and my usual Autumn/Winter peeling nose dry skin grossness has gone entirely and this is the only thing in my routine that has changed so maybe the added SPF hasn’t gone a miss 🙂
