If you are looking for a really good quality, low cost foundation that delivers a flawless yet natural looking lightweight finish, then this could be for you. Check out the new Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation. I’m a fan.
So this new foundation is a more lightweight version the existing Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation, which has also just been reformulated with comfort serum and SPF20. Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation delivers an extremely lightweight, yet decent medium coverage that is super long lasting. It promises to “blend smoothly and evenly hiding fine lines & imperfections for a poreless, seamless complexion.”
Sounds great doesn’t it? It has a really lovely serum gel texture which feels hydrating and moisturising. It grips really well to the skin for great long lasting coverage that doesn’t feel heavy. It promises to be sweat, heat, transfer, humidity proof for 25 hours but I haven’t tested it for that length of time nor would I want to! It contains SPF20 and Vitamin E so it will be a great everyday foundation.
It is available in 6 shades and I have 4 of them to show you.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation Swatches
Left left to right, I have 010 Light Porcelain, 100 Ivory, 201 Classic Beige and 400 Natural Beige.
As you can see it is a beautiful texture. There are 2 more shades Soft Beige 200 (comes after Ivory 100) and True Nude 303 (after Classic Beige 201).
It blends in really easily and evens out imperfections and redness really effectively. Take a look at my before and after photos using Ivory 100.

I actually really really love this and I have to say I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I do. I have been spoilt with gorgeous foundations from Estee Lauder, Clarins, YSL, Bare Minerals and Tom Ford recently, yet I still think this is an excellent one. It definitely does deliver on its claims and I love the fact that it minimises my enlarged pores.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation is out now and costs £7.99 which I think is incredible value. If you are looking for a high performance, natural looking foundation that doesn’t cost the earth, then I couldn’t recommend this more. Find it HERE
