Rimmel’s brand new foundation launch promises to defy the norms of long-wear makeup. It promises ultra-lightweight flawless coverage that goes the distance and also lets your skin breathe. Here’s a look at Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation with photos and swatches.

I really do like Rimmel foundations. They always perform well, particularly when you consider how affordable they are. This one is no exception, here’s what you need to know.

I really like the applicator that comes with this foundation. You simply swipe it on to the face, and then blend it out with your fingers or a brush. I like to use a buffing brush.

I have four of the lighter shades to show you, 100 Ivory, 101 Classic Ivory, 200 Soft Beige and 201 Classic Beige:

I think that 101 Classic Ivory is the best match for my complexion right now.

The texture is super light and it melts into the skin really easily. The coverage is medium and it gives skin a lovely naturally perfected finish. You can still see skin yet it looks more hydrated and more flawless. It is weightless on the skin and very comfortable to wear.

There is also a concealer in the collection – Lasting Finish Breathable Concealer – that comes in six shades.

This is a really nice, hydrating concealer that’s great for under the eyes. I used a mix of 001 and 100 here:

The cushion applicator is really handy to apply and blend the product. It’s a great one to carry in your handbag.
