Apocalips is really big news from Rimmel. This is a whole new kind of colour for them – “a luscious liquid packed with pure colour pigments for rich colour, phenomenal shine and supreme comfort that lasts all day”.

There are 8 intense shades that are sure to make a real powerful statement. And I have to say the colours are super stunning! Good news is that Kate Moss is set to be the Rimmel Apocalips poster girl, so I’ll look forward to seeing that.

I really like the foam applicator which has a micro-reservoir (which you can see in the shot above) to ensure there’s enough product for gorgeously glossy, intense lips in one application – (well I think that it what its for).
I have just sat and applied all 8 shades to my lips and photographed them, so I’ll be showing you those pics very!! It feels very creamy and hydrating as you apply and it isn’t at all sticky.
I think some of the darker colours might transfer quite easily but they may have quite a lot to do with me quickly wiping off each shade with a wipe so I could move on to the next one!
My first impression is really good – I kinda love them! I haven’t tested out how long they last yet but at £5.49 I don’t suppose we’d mind a bit of topping up throughout the day.
The Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquers are out on 23rd January 2012. Stay tuned to see what all the shades look like on.

Rimmel have launched some amazing things these last few months. These sound good too, though I have heard they are drying which is a shame. x
These look great! I’m looking forward to seeing them in store next year 🙂 x
Love the packaging, the colours, the name, but HATE Kate Moss, which is why I don’t buy Rimmel. I think she’s a bad role model.
These look interesting. Another high-street brand that’s pulled it out of the bag lately. I’m not a huge fan of gloss, but as the colour of these is so intense I’m quite tempted to branch out and give them a go – Luna looks like a beaut.
