As someone who is not so confident with eye makeup, the Revlon PhotoReady Eyeshadow & Primer palettes are a welcome addition to my makeup collection. This is like painting by numbers for eyes.

I am more than happy to have a bit of guidance when it comes to makeup, and I literally just followed the instructions on the back of the palette and I was really pleased with the result.
The use of the primer shade in the Revlon PhotoReady Eyeshadow & Primer palettes promises a smooth and long lasting finish, and I was very impressed with its staying power. This photo was taken at the end of the day – it even survived a few hours in the salon getting my hair coloured!
The shades are really well pigmented and I think that the primer shade would look really pretty on its own too. If you are not too keen on glittery shades, just skip No 5 or go easy with it – maybe just a tiny bit in the centre of the lid to light up the eyes? The shadows can also be used wet for more intensity.
Revlon PhotoReady Eyeshadow & Primer palette come in 5 different colour ways, with Metropolitan 501 being the most neutral of the bunch. They are out now and cost £8.99 at Boots.

Such gorgeous shades super pretty, I wish the applicators were mini brushes though that would be good. Gorgeous as usual

I always like the ideas of palettes like this and the shades look very pretty. I’m surprised about the pigmentation since I had heard that it wasn’t that great but now I will definitely pick one up :o) Xx

I remember painting by numbers… makes it nice and easy if you’re having an off day *hungover*…
