My obsession for foundation is growing and I am so thrilled at the amazing choice we have these days across budget and luxury brand. It’s a budget one today. Here’s my take on the Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect Foundation.

I have never properly tried the original Photoready makeup so unfortunately I can’t do a comparison, but I shall do my best to give you the lowdown on this newbie.
Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect Foundation Features

So as the name would suggest, this foundation is all about giving that flawless looking airbrushed effect to the skin:
- Light filtering technology for a radiant finish
- Soft focus pigments for luminosity
- Medium to full coverage
- Broad spectrum SPF20
- Oil-free
- Fragrance free
- 8 high resolution shades

- Natural Beige
- Golden Beige

I really like the texture of this foundation. It is creamy and smooth, and although I have been going great guns with the serum foundations that are really liquidy, this really the type of consistency I prefer. It also needs minimal powdering.
I like the coverage this gives and it covers imperfections really swiftly and I needed hardly any concealer at all. On the down side, in some lights it can look a little glittery, but that doesn’t really bother me too much. I think that people found that with the original formula too which I know is one you either love or hate. I don’t think this would work too well on dry skins, as I find it pretty mattifying and it sets fast. I like this on top of a good helping of moisturiser and I really buffed it into my skin with the new Real Techniques Sculpting Brush.
I haven’t yet managed to test it for 8 hours as I applied this fairly late in the day, so I will wear it again and update if I can.
Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Effect Foundation costs £12.99 and you can FIND IT HERE AT BOOTS (with 3 for 2) and HERE AT SUPERDRUG (also on a deal).
