Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation Review
I was really excited to try this foundation because the hype from Revlon is all about lots of skincare benefits, soft focus effect (I like) and a light as air formula. Revlon says that Nearly Naked “balances skin and makeup so they work together – allowing makeup to mimic the skin’s tone and texture.”

The first thing that struck me is that it doesn’t have a pump and I do love a pump! But I can get over that. As it is a very fluid , liquidy foundation, you just have to be a bit careful when dispensing it.

Revlon’s Nearly Naked feels very light on the skin and blends really easily.  So you can get an idea of the finish. Here is a before and a after photo.

And here it is with a light dusting of powder on the t-zone and the rest of my makeup:

As you can see it is a lovely illuminated dewy finish. I really like it! Info on the outfit is HERE. The coverage is very light and natural, so probably not suited to anyone looking to do any major concealing. But it is ample to perfectly even out the redness in my skin and give a glowing flawless finish.
The other thing to point out is that it has SPF20 which is seriously impressive considering how light it looks and feels. It also contains green tea to soothe and heal, black tea for anti-ageing, oatmeal to calm and jojoba oil to moisturise.
And on the note of the jojoba oil – it definitely does feel very moisturising and perhaps may not be suitable for oily skins or in warmer climates. My skin is on the dry side at the moment so it is perfect. I have heard it is a good dupe for Urban Decay’s Naked Foundation, but as I haven’t tried that, I can’t comment.
Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation launches in the UK on 20th February 2013 in ten shades and costs £8.99. There is also a Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder – £7.99 in 5 shades – but I haven’t got round to trying that yet.
