The Revlon matte balms from the newly re-vamped ColorBurst Crayon collection are really, really good. For a gorgeous, long lasting red and super smooth lips, you can’t beat shade Standout.

Isn’t it just gorgeous?! It stays looking great for hours and feels really good on the lips. Unlike many matte lip colours, I didn’t experience any dryness at all.
Not my usual shade at all, but pretty stunning nonetheless, Shameless is another winner.

It’s a gorgeous deep purple berry shade that’s amazing for Autumn and makes a change from classic red. Again the application is flawless and the colour lasts and last.
All the Revlon Matte Balm ColorBurst Crayon shades are amazing – check out all my swatches in my Revlon ColorBurst Crayons: Lacquer Balms and Matte Balms Review, Photos, Swatches post. The Lacquer Balms are also lovely but I just can’t stop reaching for the matte right now.
The Revlon Matte Balms and Lacquer Balms launch on 22nd January 2014 at Boots (then 18th February 2014 at Superdrug so there’s a bit of a wait yet.

The current Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains will become the Revlon ColorBurst Crayon Balm Stains as part of the same collection, so you can still purchase those before the re-branding kicks in. They are lovely FYI!
