I really love this warm and bright red from Revlon. It is the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain – shade Romantic.

These Revlon lip crayons are really easy to apply just like their Clinique Chubby Stick counterparts. In terms of packaging and concept they are in fact incredibly similar to good old Chubbies. Have a look:

I think the main difference is that the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is a bit firmer in texture, is more of a stain (as the name would suggest) so the colour lasts much longer, but isn’t quite as creamy and moisturising as the Clinique Chubby Stick. It also has a minty smell and feel which I really rather like! Comparisons obviously will be drawn between the 2 products but I think they are actually quite different. I am a fan of them both!
They are also rather different in price. The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is £7.99, so half the price of the Chubby.
They are available from Boots and Superdrug in a range of shades. I have a few more so will show you those soon.
I used the new L’Oreal CC Cream on my skin – you can check that out HERE. It’s pretty incred!!

  • I have the Crush shade of this and I love it. I do prefer the Chubby Sticks though, so have been favouring them, but now I see this shade on, I think I need this too.

  • It’s been a while since I wore this but I was messing around & perhaps thinking of wearing a different lipstick. I think I wore MAC’s Cherry LL & it looked stunning. I have a ton of reds so I guess that’s why it haven’t worn it again but it looked awesome. I hope these newer lacquers are just as great. Thanks.
