If you are looking for a makeup primer that makes your face stay on for longer without the need for silicone, then you need to check this out. Here’s the lowdown on REN Perfect Canvas serum – the perfect skincare-primer hybrid.

There’s so much I like about this product, from the name, to the packaging, to how it feels on my skin and how my foundation grips to it. It’s a brilliant new launch and I think it will get REN a good amount of attention from makeup junkies seeking products that enhance the way their makeup performs and improves skin at the same time.

There is so much going on in REN Perfect Canvas and it’s so much more than a primer. If you like multi-tasking products that work really hard, then this probably has your attention. I really like this because whilst it is the last step in your routine before makeup, you can also just mix it into your moisturiser if you like things a bit simpler. It can also be used as a regular serum at night as it has so many skincare benefits.

The serum glides over the skin effortlessly and is really pleasant to apply. It absorbs really well and leaves the skin ever so slightly tacky (in a hydrated way) which means that your foundation grips on beautifully. It enhances the smoothness and overall flawlessness of the complexion. It’s lovely. There’s a downside though – it is £50 for 30ml which is on the high end budget-wise, but I do believe you are getting what you pay for with this.
