I totally love this beautifully light skin base product from Pixi. If you are looking for product with coverage that looks like you’re not wearing anything on your skin, then the chance are, you will too! Check out the Pixi H2O Skin Tint Tinted Face Gel, especially if you have thirsty skin!

I have never really tried a texture like this before, maybe apart from Dr Jart’s Water Fuse BB Cream, although this is more pigmented I think. The Pixi H2O Skin Tint is described as a complexion-enhancing gel tint for a smooth, fresh faced look all day.” You can feel the water in the formula as you blend it into the skin and it kind of has a bursting sensation as you work it in. It feels like a big drink of water for parched skin. Feels so good!
Along with the water that is packed into the formula there’s also quite a few other skincare goodies in there.
Pixi H2O Skin Tint Tinted Face Gel Beneficial ingredients:
- Green tea provides antioxidants
- Rose water moisturizes
- English chamomile & lavender soothe
The first time I tried this, I applied it to my face with my fingers – at first it kind of sits on top of the skin but as the water comes out of the product it starts to blend and disappears into the skin as it evens everything out. I have since used it with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and love to apply it like that.

I absolutely love this on my skin. No 1 Cream is a tiny bit light for me at the moment as I have been fake tanning but a touch of bronze and blush fix that in an instant and my skin looks juicy, fresh and gorgeous!
Pixi H2O Skin Tint with bronze and blush:

Love it! It is paraben free and suitable for sensitive skins. I’d definitely recommend you try this if you are looking for something a little different, or lighter for the summer and hydration is an issue. Big thumbs up from me – ideal for more mature skin.
Pixi H2O Skin Tint Tinted Face Gel is £24 and available at these links below:

Wauw it looks really great!
Looks amazing. I’ve only ever tried Pixi nail polishes and they weren’t very good 🙁 x

Hi Ree, I know this is a very old post so don’t know if there is any chance of reply but lets have a go! I’ve been eyeing up this product and thinking of using it on my hols as a light, fresh base. However, I noticed that it says on the packaging to apply it straight to the skin in place of a moisturizer which seems a bit alien to me….I have combination skin, probably leaning a bit drier now as I’m getting older so I always put at least a light swipe of moisturizer under my base….on hols I would def like to add SPF under it but hope it doesn’t all get a bit too oily then. Just wondering how you have used it?

Hello!
I am the same as you – I use moisturiser and SPF under anything and everything! It would feel wrong if I didn’t!!!
If you give the products time to sink in this works really well so don’t let that stop you. It’s an extraordinary texture but super hydrating.
I hope that helps!! xxx
Thank you so much!
