I popped along to meet Philip B, the man behind the Philip B Botanicals haircare range, and I have to say it was really quite an experience!
I had my hair shampooed and conditioned using the brand new Philip B Oud Royal Forever Shine with Mega Bounce products and then blow dried using absolutely NO OTHER PRODUCTS!!

Now I wouldn’t normally dream of putting heat, or even a brush near my hair, without a serum, oil or heat protecting styling product, so I was completely blown away that just a shampoo and conditioner could achieve this kind of result. I have never known products like these.

Philip B is super super passionate about his products and their ability to transform all hair types into bouncy, glossy, show-stopping locks in one use.

Philip B explained that the products use nano molecules, small enough to actually penetrate the hair and moisturise each strand from the inside out. You literally just wash your hair with the shampoo, then condition it and comb it through, then rinse and style!

You are left with super soft, shiny, bouncy, thick and fragrant locks and it lasts for a good few days!

It sounds too good to be true doesn’t it?! But I have to say, there is a hitch. The price! It is hugely expensive sadly. Hold on to your hats because the Philip B Oud Royale Forever Shine with Megabounce shampoo is £60 and the conditioner is £70. WOW!
I am not really sure who can afford that but if you ever do have some spare mega-bucks then this is definitely a product that you will not be disappointed with.

I bought this and, for me, it was a complete flop. Greasy roots, dry ends, flat, dull and lifeless. One of the most disappointing shampoos I’ve ever used – and I’ve tried a few!
