Peoneve Eau de Toilette from Penhaligon’s Fragrance House
A brand new fragrance and a brand new take on an English garden in Summer. I absolutely love this.
It isn’t floral in an old fashion way at all. It is super sensuous and soft with a good amount of peppery edginess. This is a definite must smell!
“Peoneve opens with a burst of greenness from Violet Leaf absolute which gives way to a heart of luscious Peony, peppery Bulgarian Rose and a powerful white floral note courtesy of Hedione. The sensual base notes add a sense of summer abandon to the scent; earthy Vetiver, mischievous Musk and warm Cashmere Wood.”
Head Notes: Violet Leaf
Heart Notes: Peony, Bulgarian Rose, Hedione
Base Notes: Vetiver, Musk, Cashmere Wood
Master Perfumer Olivier Cresp has employed some amazing technology to fully capture the individual scent of a peony flower. Nature Print Technology enables the synthesis of an aroma as close as possible to nature. Special CO2 Extraction was used to capture the Vetiver and the Bulgarian rose; a process that captures every last drop of scent from the ingredient.
It is so interesting to see how science is being used to capitalise on nature’s best.
Peoneve launches exclusively in Harvey Nichols on 16th July 2012and will be available at Penhaligon’s boutiques, concessions and online at www.penhaligons.com from 13th August 2012, starting at £85.
To celebrate the launch Harvey Nichols will transform their 5th floor terrace into a beautiful English Summer garden with a cocktail menu and dessert menu inspired by the notes within the fragrance. Put it in your diary!
