Now, this isn’t a new product but I tried it for the first time the other day, over makeup, and I absolutely loved the effect. So I thought I would share with you how I have been using the Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream as part of my makeup routine. It is pretty simple but if you like a bright-eyed look, you might really like it!
To start off, I will just run you through the info on this eye cream.
Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream Features
- Energizing formulation that instantly wakes up tired eyes
- Ideal for dullness, puffiness and dark circles
- Enriched with coffee beans, panax ginseng, magnolia extract
- Natural optic brighteners illuminate the eye area
- Helps reduce dark circles and bags
Now, I hadn’t read any of that before I tried it. It was the look of it that made we want to put it on. I love the fact that you can see the illuminating pigment in it and as I love brightness under my eyes, I had to pop it straight on (over my makeup).
I was having one of those days when it didn’t matter how much makeup I applied, my eyes still looked a little puffy and shadowy.
Before & After
I am a huge believer in using eye cream over makeup to freshen up the skin and combat dryness and dehydration. So I popped a bit of the Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream and let it sit on the skin without blending for a couple of minutes. Then I gently tapped it into the skin with my ring finger and everything just looked better!
I am currently incorporating this step into my makeup routine and pretty much the very last step. It has the double benefit of illuminating the area and also making sure everything stays nice and hydrated. I think for a night out I’d pop it in my handbag so I can add a bit of luminosity and moisture when I need it. It’s not a complete cure because when I’m tired, I’m tired and it always shows in my eyes, but it certainly improves things.
Also, it’s gorgeous on the top of cheekbones for an extremely natural looking glow. Love it!
Origins Ginzing Refreshing Eye Cream is £20 for 15ml and available HERE now.
