My favourite way to cleanse is with a creamy or oily product and a cloth or flannel and there’s a plethora of different options available. Many hot cloth cleansers reside in the upper budgetary echelons, however, this one from Organic Surge is super affordable and very nice too! Here’s the Organic Surge Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser.

Now I love to spend a fair bit of money on skincare. To be fair, nearly every student loan and pay packet was dedicated to this and makeup for amany years! But if you can get great quality and spend a lot less, then I am all for it!!

I basically pump out the lovely, thick, aromatic cream, massage it on to dry skin including the eyes and then remove it with a warm, wet flannel, then rinse my face. It removes all my makeup, including waterproof in one go and then a second cleanse leaves my skin feeling super clean, smooth and soft. There’s no tightness and it’s really comfortable.
There’s a whole host of active ingredients thrown in to the Organic Surge Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser for your money too:
  • Aloe vera leaf juice – naturally calms and moisturises
  • Shea butter – moisturises and conditions promoting cell renewal
  • Cocoa butter – naturally purifies and tones the skin
  • Orange peel oil – naturally calms skin irritation
  • Rose geranium essential oil – naturally restores skin balance and revives a dull complexion
  • Damask rose oil – calms, hydrates and moisturises skin requiring a little extra care
  • Star anise oil – anti-oxidant with anti-wrinkling properties

It really is all good stuff and does everything you could possibly want a cleanser to do.

Organic Surge Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser costs £12.50 for 150ml. Find it HERE or John Lewis. This is actually from Organic Surge’s premium line and they have a whole host of even more affordable products.
