Nothing makes me more excited on the nail front than receiving a full OPI collection and I have to say this one is a complete winner! There are 12 new shades in the OPI New Orleans SS16 Collection and I would wear 11 of them without question or hesitation. It is a beautiful line up! I have swatches of every colour here for you.

So OPI has taken the amazing city of New Orleans in Louisiana as it’s inspiration for this collection and it’s a perfect source because it’s such a rich and vibrant place absolutely teeming with life, contrasts, colours and vibrant textures. I visited back in 2013 and it was amazing.

It is such an incredible line up! There are so many I am obsessed with! First up, Spare me a French Quarter is my absolute favourite. It is too beautiful and I could live with it on my nails forever. I also adore the red – She’s a Bad Muffuletta – it’s an absolute dream. I love Rich Girls & Po-Boys for a fresh summery blue and Humidi-Tea is such a chic but different nude that it has to rank with my faves.
I actually love all of them – apart from one, which is I’m Sooo Swamped! It is a stunning green, but I feel I can only really wear mints or turquoise. This one just doesn’t work for my skin tone.
Massive approval from over here on this collection. It’s brilliant. All the shades in the OPI New Orleans Collection for Spring Summer 2016 are available in both nail lacquer and GelColor formulas. The standard nail lacquer is £12.50 and there will also be a mini-pack called the Jambalayettes which includes Got Myself into a Jam-balaya, Take a Right on Bourbon, I’m So Swamped! and Show Us Your Tips! You can pick that up for £19.95. Find it all online HERE.
