I know that I am not alone when I say that it is pretty hard to keep your lips happy this time of year. Turn your back for a second and you’ll come back to a chapped, flaky and super sore kisser! I am such a fan of matte lipsticks but they are a total no-no if lips aren’t tip top but luckily I recently discovered  Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm which is such a treat.

Omorovicza is a pretty special brand. It’s pricey but I haven’t yet tried anything that I haven’t loved. I use the Gold Rescue cream any time my skin is in need of a super shot of TLC. And the Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm has quite a lot going on for a lip balm.

There’s always the worry that many lip balms just sit on the surface of your lips and none of the nourishing ingredients are able to actually penetrate the skin. But I really feel that isn’t a concern with this one as it has been able to deliver improvements from the very first application. It completely revived my lips within a day.

It has a fairly solid texture in its little pot but it very quickly melts on to the lips with the most soft yet refreshing tingling sensation. It instantly smooths, hydrates and even plumps I think, which is certainly good news. I haven’t had any flaky bits at all since I started using it about 5 days ago. Fabulous! It’s a handbag must-have for sure.

As I said, Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm is pretty pricey at £32 which is definitely does what it promises and one pot will last a long time.

Plus the gloss is gives is so nice you could definitely use it as your lip makeup choice with benefits.
