Visible pores are one of the main things I worry about but I am not always a fan of the feel on my skin of many pore filling products. They can feel heavy and clogging, even if they are not. The Olay Pore Minimiser CC Cream is right up my street in terms of texture – it’s super light, instantly fresh and hydrating. Available to order online HERE.

Olay Pore Minimiser CC Cream Formulation
It has been formulated to:
- Even skin tone appearance
- Minimise the look of pores
- Enhance brightness
- Visibly smooth fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduce the look of ages spots
- Hydrate and plump
- Replenish moisture
The Olay Pore Minimiser CC Cream also promises long term anti-ageing benefits, much like the majority of products that Olay bring to market. In fact, it actually contains the highest level of Vitamin B3 or Niacinamide, in the whole Total Effect range.

It uses a Multi-Vitamin Complex called Vitaniacin which is a combination of Vitamin B3, Vitamin E and Vitamin B5, that works to strengthen the moisture barrier and have an anti-ageing effect. The B3 works on hyperpigmentation and tone, the Vit E moisturises and protects from free radicals and the B5 hydrates, improves elasticity and soothes.
But enough chatter about formula and ingredients. What does it look like on the skin? Well I’ll show you!
Olay Pore Minimiser CC Cream Swatches

The consistency seems pretty thick at first – I flattened out the second swatch so you could get an idea about texture – but it is deceptively light and melts into the skin weightlessly.
Olay Pore Minimiser CC Cream Before & After Photos
Before…

After…

Half and half…

In the photo directly above, it is just applied to the left side (as you see it) and I think that the smoothing and pore minimising effect is pretty visible. The effect is subtler than some other pore minimiser products I have tried, but this has a much more natural, sheer finish and feels so much lighter on the skin. Plus it has all the anti-ageing goodies packed in.
I ended up using a mix of the 2 shades but I actually think I could go for either as they adapt to the skin tone. I think if I was wearing it alone I’d go for light to medium to add a touch of warmth, and if I was using it as a primer I’d choose Fair to Light for an extra brightening effect.
Olay Pore Minimiser CC Cream is out now and costs £14.99. It’s a lovely product and it’s a keeper in my arsenal of skin bases. Available to order online HERE.
