The second I lay eyes on these gorgeous blushers from high street / drugstore brand NYX, I thought of the Tom Ford Eye & Cheek Ombres from the Autumn 2015 collection. If you are ever having Tom Ford feelings about makeup of any description, it is a good sign. There’s actually a shade that’s a bit similar to my favourite TF one too. Result. Here’s a look at the NYX Ombre Blush line up with swatches of all the shades.

I love the look of these blushers. If ombre is done well, it looks so good – and these look good! There’s a brilliant shade range, my favourite of which is Mauve Me, which is the one that reminds me most of the Tom Ford blushes – the plum one!

- Insta Flame
- Code Breaker
- Mauve Me
- Feel The Heat
- Soft Flush
- Strictly Chic
These are really pigmented blushes in a super-fine and silky powder. They feel really high quality and each shade delivers a really skin-flattering finish. They have a very soft shimmer that gives the skin a beautiful glow.

Feel The Heat, Soft Flush & Strictly Chic

The pigmentation is, however, so full on in some of the shades that you would need a really light hand to ensure you don’t end up over blushed! Unless you are careful, the brush can pick up a lot of colour so I’d recommend using a duo fibre brush or one with a soft, looser arrangement.

As I said at the beginning, Mauve Me is my favourite one I think for ease of wear and a really high quality look and feel. Strictly Chic comes a very close second. I am really loving NYX, it has to be said.
The NYX Ombre Blush range is available HERE in the US, and Here in the UK

I have never fallen in love with a blush as quickly as I did these! These shades look beautiful, but the design of these blushes is something else.
