These are really nice lipsticks in a crayon format that have good pigmentation, are moisturising and have rather good staying power. I have been checking out some US reviews and they are going down a storm since they launched earlier in the year! Coupled with the fact that they are only £3.49 each, I think it’s pretty cetain that the NYC Cityproof Twistable Lip Colors will go down well here!

They formula is really firm, yet creamy so application is a breeze. It is easy to line and define the lips, and they glide on without pulling. Check out the swatches.

Here is the list of shades from left to right in the order that the swatches appear: – 010 Nolita Neutral, 021 Parsons Pink, 030 Metropolitan Mauve, 031 Gramercy Park Plum, 040 South Ferry Berry, 041 Ballroom Blush & 052 Roosevelt Island Red.

There’s a great range of colours and finishes with some being more sheer and glossy, whilst others are more creamy and opaque. I went for NYC Cityproof Twistable in 030 Metropolitan Mauve as a lovely day time colour and was really pleased.  It actually lasted about 5 hours which I think is amazing for £3.49.

Major thumbs up from me. This is a brilliant lip crayon offering and they easily compete with more expensive takes on the Chubby.
