I think this is the right time of year to talk about waterproof mascara, and I have to say, I have been loving this new one, the Nudestix Vegan Splashproof Mascara. I have before and after photos here for you to check out.

I love testing out new mascaras and I was excited to try this one because hay fever season has arrived for me and I tend to get quite watery eyes when I least expect it.
Before & After Photos
I thought it was best to get straight down to business and show you before and after photos. I really like the way this mascara makes my lashes look.
This is two rather generous. thick coats, and because I like the look of mascara, I like to build it up. It does take a bit of work to build volume. More easily, you can go for a lighter, more fluttery look using less product and less layers. See below for photos of that.

I would never think of Nudestix when I think about mascara, but I have to say, I am really impressed with this launch. It’s a great mascara.
Is it hard to remove?
I feel like I should say straight away that, even though this is a waterproof, longwear formula, it isn’t hard to remove at all. I just use one of my regular oil cleansers, as I generally do for a first cleanse, and it whisks away nice and easily. No panda eyes the next morning!
Is it Waterproof and smudgeproof?
I have found the performance of this mascara to be excellent. I have been getting quite watery eyes at the moment, plus I rarely powder my eye area (or any area!) and it has stayed in place.
I have even done a bit of minimal eye rubbing, which I’m not normally brave enough to do when I have makeup on.
Is it comfortable on sensitive eyes?
I have found this super light and comfortable. It doesn’t aggravate my eyes, even when they are feeling sensitive and watery, yet it stays put really well. It has a light and flexible feel which is a real bonus.
Is it lengthening and volumisng?
I’d say that this is more of a lengthening mascara than a volumising one, and will suit someone that favours more of a natural look than a false lash effect. If you liked the look of the Victoria Beckham Mascara, you may like this. It’s more affordable than that one too.
