I am having a huge Nars moment right now. I’m loving the new foundation and now it’s really all about Dual Intensity! I managed to play with the new blushes, and tonight I met the stunning beauty that is the Nars Narsissist Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette from the Nars Spring 2015 collection. This eyeshadow formula is incredible!!! Truly.

Why have I not tried these eyeshadows before?! I think it is because they looked so pigmented that they scared me a little. But they are amazing, so easy to work with, so long lasting and really beautifully smoothing on the skin – especially when used wet. Never has wet eyeshadow been less scary!! This is all about sheen, not shimmer and I am obsessed!!!

I love all these shades, there actually isn’t one I wouldn’t wear especially as I got the best tips on how to wear it wet from Jane from Nars. Keep reading for those!

So as I said, Jane talked me though how to work with these wet, and it is a matter of wet the brush (included and perfect for this job) dipping into your chosen shade and then making a paste on the back of your hand. You apply it straight to the lid, one eye at a time, and then clean the brush off on your hand and use the tapered end of the brush to blend and polish it in around the edges.

It’s a really brilliant brush and I tried this technique right there at the event with the beautiful Subra shade and it worked perfectly. Definitely work on one eye at a time, because once it’s set it’s so you want to make sure you have enough time to do all the blending you want.
This is definitely one for the collection! Nars Narsissist Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette is £45 and you can buy it now from ASOS, Selfridges, John Lewis and Space NK.

I love the look of these shadows! I may just need to get my paws on them when it comes out in Australia — that deep, dark blue just has my name written all over it!
