We have two new limited edition palettes with matte blusher. Here are photos and swatches of the new NARS Full Dimension Cheek Palette I.

I absolutely love the matte silver packaging on this collection. It also contains some very nice Soft Matte Tinted Lip Balms that I will show you as soon as I can. They are pretty unique, as most tinted lip balms are glossy.

My Review
I love these NARS cheek palettes and the tones in the tones in the Full Dimension Cheek Palette I are so pretty and flattering.
The textures of the powders are silky and smooth, and as someone who loves playing with blush, I am thrilled with a palette where I can build dimension by layering a matte blush and then a softly shimmering one.

With palettes like this, I like to apply the bronzer shade first, then the highlighter, and then finish with blush. I find that this creates the most natural looking effect, and the blush the end brings harmony where the bronzer and highlighter meet.
You can, of course, opt for just the matte blush, or just the shimmery blush, but layering them is not only fun, but really helps to add a very flattering volume to the cheeks, and I am always there for that! As you can see from the photo, I quite like a lot of blush!
It’s such a great palette but I have to confess, sometimes I struggle to open it. I think I have the knack now and the key is to press on the opening class instead of trying to pull it open. Basically, sometimes I open it without even thinking, and other times it gives me grief!! Just thought I’d mention it in case you have been struggling too.
Where to buy it
Both palettes are limited edition and available exclusively at Boots* in the UK. They are £45 each.

Stay tuned for a post on the new Soft Matte Tinted lip balms that I am really enjoying. And if matte is your thing, make sure you check out the NARS Air Matte Blush and the NARS Air Matte Lip Color.
