I rather excitedly wrote about this palette at the end of last week when I caught sight of it in the US. I have my sample now, so can share with you my NARS Dual Intensity Cheek Palette Swatches. I am pleased to say that I love the palette as much as I hoped I would!

The Dual Intensity formulation from Nars is one of my favourite ever formulations in makeup. They are wet and dry powders and really change how they act with the addition of water, then dry quickly and return beautifully to their former dry selves. It is genuinely the best wet and dry formula out there. And guess what? I wore this today not only as bronzer, blush and highlight, but also eyeshadow. In fact, I actually had compliments on my eyeshadow today which rarely ever happens!

NARS Dual Intensity Cheek Palette Swatches
I – Soft Tulle, II – Damask with Gold Sheen, III – Peony, IV – Titian
Dry:

Wet:

This is a great selection of shades. I actually used the IV as contour, then II higher up to bronze and warm things up. I used III right on the apple of my cheeks and then applied I wet for a more intense highlight.

For the eyes, I applied II wet over the lids and then blended it out with a dry brush. Then I dusted IV dry over the top. Then I used I in the inner corner and in the arch of the brow.
It’s a great palette for multi-tasking and certainly one I would travel with as it cover cheeks and eyes very well indeed. Love it!
The NARS Dual Intensity Cheek Palette is £40 and available HERE in the UK now. It is available in the US HERE.
