I was so excited to try the Kensington Caviar Gel Effect Plumping Top Coat from Nails Inc because I adore the look of gel nails but don’t like the idea of being tied down to the same colour for too long. I like change!
So I was hoping that Nails Inc had come up with the answer!

I started with the new Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Flawless Base Coat which is a fast drying adhesive base coat – a primer for the colour coat.
Because I was going to be wearing my green Herve Leger dress (post HERE), I picked one of my fave polishes Khaki Arty from YSL – a delicious deep, dark olivey green. I applied 2 coats over the Kensington Caviar Flawless Base Coat.

It is a really glossy gorgeous number on its own so I wasn’t sure there was much room for improvement with the Kensington Caviar Gel Effect Plumping Top Coat.

I am very pleased with it. I asked a couple of people whether it looked like gels and they said yes. It stayed smooth, glossy and pretty much chip-free (apart from a nail that split on my right hand).
When I had it removed at the Clinique Nail Event, it took quite a bit of work to get it off, so it was definitely set to last a good while.
Think I’ll be using this new duo quite a lot!

love the gel look but was reading some research it is bad for your health
same, I heard most nail polish could be poisonous to humans
Probably not a good idea to EAT nail polish, then? I don’t understand. If you think nail polish is poisonous, you presumably don’t use it, so why are you commenting on nail polish?
