MERIT is launching in the UK so I am swatching my way through their collection. Here’s a look at the MERIT Beauty Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil with photos and swatches. Enjoy!

What is MERIT Beauty Shade Slick?

Shade Slick is a tinted lip oil designed to give the lips a juicy healthy look with a sheer wash of colour.

• Delivers a hint of colour
• Formulated to help maintain moisture levels
• Rosehip oil for healthy barrier function and antioxidant benefit
• Shea butter and grapeseed oils condition and soften lips
• Jojoba oil locks in moisture
• Available in eight shades

There are eight shades to choose from:

• Bel Air – warm clear
• Au Naturel – warm creme (recommended for fair to medium skin tones)
• Taupe – neutral brown
• Pink Beet – cool pink
• Marrakech – soft peach
• Cara Cara – soft red-orange
• Sangria – deep berry
• Falcon – deep brown

I have all the swatches for you here except for the Taupe shade, which I didn’t have when I took all these photos. I have Taupe now (and it is gorgeous) so I will add it in as soon as I can).

My Review of MERIT Beauty Shade Slick

I love a lip oil and the formula of these ones is really lovely. The inclusion of Rosehip Oil, Jojoba Oil and Shea make it super moisturising and comforting, and they are great to throw in your handbag for top ups during the day.

It isn’t sticky or heavy and feels really light and comfy on the lips. The shades give the lips a light long lasting stain, so once the shine has gone, my lips still look healthy and like I still have something on.

I really like the packaging, and the small angled doe-foot makes application really easy. Lovely!
