My Review

This is a really lovely, easy to use bronzing stick that will be perfect for those that love a no makeup look. It’s a very sheer formula that melts into the skin easily and blends beautifully.
I love the range of shades. In terms of matching to the Minimalist Foundation* shade that I use (Linen), I should be be the Quince shade, but I actually think that’s a bit light for the look I like. I always go for quite a pale base and then like to bronze up. I have been using Clay mainly but you can see them both in the video above.
If you like a bronzey look, you may want to go a bit darker than MERIT recommend because it is a pretty sheer formula.
It has a lovely smooth and creamy texture, and it feels nice and moisturising. You can apply it straight from the stick and then blend with fingers or a brush. It’s really easy to work with. Because it’s super sheer, you can’t really go wrong with it.
The finish is nice and glowy, thanks to the balmy texture. There’s no shimmer but the radiance comes from the emollient consistency of the product.
The packaging looks really pretty, but it feels quite light in the hand which I know not everyone will love. It isn’t weighty.
Overall, I think this is the perfect bronzer for those that want to avoid any kind of a makeup-y look. It’s really natural and easy to use, and can be topped up easily if you need a boost during the day.
The bronzer works really nicely with the MERIT blushers for a super luminous and fresh look. Check out MERIT Beauty Flush Balm Cheek Color UK Review & Swatches.
