This here is quite a discovery for me as I am  obsessed with hydration and makeup skin prep. This little beauty arrived in the post yesterday, just when I was feeling really parched and needed to give my skin a bit of a boost before going out for dinner. It is the Melvita Rose Nectar Moisturising Mask.

Melvita Rose Nectar Moisturising Mask Review
You know that I am a fan of Melvita and this is potentially my fave product from them to date. I feel really excited to say that!! And the reason is, it is the perfect dupe, if not a major advance on a much more expensive product, the Sisley Express Flower Gel mask. I think makeup artists and beauty junkies alike are going to adore this!

Melvita Rose Nectar Moisturising Mask Review
Melvita Rose Nectar Moisturising Mask is a cream gel, 100-leaved rose infusion mask packed full of hyaluronic acid to instantly quench thirsty, dehydrated skin. The main application difference to the Sisley mask is that you leave this one on for five rather than three minutes and then you remove excess with a cotton pad dampened with water, toner or floral water. I used the Melvita Witch Hazel Floral Water and followed with moisturiser. The Sislely Express Flower Gel mask is £72.50 for 60ml and the Melvita Rose Nectar Moisturising Mask is £21 for 50ml – so it’s way cheaper and I actually think you get better results.
The results are go good – smooth, hydrated, plumped up, glowing skin that is ready for makeup (if you want). Just how I like it!! Also the mask smells amazing.
Melvita Rose Nectar Moisturising Mask will be available from August 2013, check out the full range at John Lewis and Feel Unique.
