It contains water and glycerin to moisturise and silicone mattifiers to reduce shine and diffuse light.
Makeup Artist Pat McGrath explained that the demi matte look is all about a flawless dimensional matte finish with a bit of brilliance and radiance. Mel Arter described the Max Factor Whipped Creme foundation finish as satin, whilst Caroline Barnes likens it to velvet. All in all, it sounds wonderful!!

You can see how well it evens out the complexion, removes shine but still makes the skin look naturally radiant and softly dewy. I really love this finish. I think it’s safe to say that this is a real winner for me!!

  • I just binned my last two foundations so have nothing now. I’m on the hunt for something light to medium coverage, semi matte is fine but no more than that. I’ve had good luck with MF foundations in the past so I may give this a try.

  • I’ve only recently realised that all the Maxfactor products are the same as the Covergirl products in America, just with different names haha so this is the Covergirl whipped foundation I’ve heard so much about!! I’m definitely going to pick this up, I have dry skin and this looks like it would hydrate beautifully!
