I have been absolutely desperate to get my hands on the Max Factor CC Stick even since I saw them backstage at London Fashion Week AW14 and now I have all five of the shades. There’s The Reducer (Green), The Revitaliser (purple), The Brightener (yellow), The Balancer (pink) and The Illuminator (highlighter). They are gorgeous creamy sticks which neutralise imperfections and can be used over or under foundation.

Each Max Factor CC Stick is made of a super creamy, blendable formula targeted to address specific skin concerns. They each have a lovely moisturising finish and are not at all drying or cakey. Here are the swatches:

The top swatch photo shows the Max Factor CC sticks straight from the bullet, and the second shows the same swatches lightly blended out. As you can see, they easily disappear into the skin. Here is what each stick addresses:
- Max Factor Colour Corrector CC Stick in Green (The Reducer) – GENERAL REDNESS
- Max Factor Colour Corrector CC Stick in Purple (The Revitaliser) – YELLOW UNDERTONES, SALLOW, DULL SKIN
- Max Factor Colour Corrector CC Stick in Yellow (The Brightener) – LILAC/PURPLE UNDERTONES PARTICULARLY UNDER EYES
- Max Factor Colour Corrector CC Stick in Pink (The Balancer) – DARK SPOTS

I don’t think the Illuminator needs an explanation – it just a lovely highlighter that everyone can use after foundation is already applied.
I also think that the Green will good for everyone, as lots of us suffer with a little redness, and personally I will be going for Yellow for my under eye area and Pink on my areas of pigmentation. I will show you them on my face in a post coming soon.
Caroline Barnes suggests using the Max Factor Colour Corrector CC Sticks from the pen after primer but before foundation, and blend them in with your fingers to help the product connect with the skin. She says to use the highlighter as a finishing touch after primer and foundation.

I love the look of these! I suffer from redness and discolouration around my nose, so something like this would be perfect. Can’t wait to pick one up!

OOh! I want a few of these! Great idea 😀
Although I think these type of concealers is a fantastic idea, I hate this style of concealer (sticks).
