Max Factor CC Cream Review – After |
As you can see, the coverage is excellent – it is sheer-looking and weightless but still makes my skin look pretty flawless. It neutralises the redness in my skin, covers the blemishes and really softens the appearance of open pores, fine lines and wrinkles.
You will be able to see all that more clearly in this half and half shot:

It feels really light, not like makeup at all, and super hydrating and comfortable. I didn’t use any powder with it – just added some cream blush, mascara and a slick of lip colour and I had a lovely glowy and dewy natural makeup look.

Max Factor CC Cream Review – After |
Now here is the history – Max Factor have had this product in their range since 2010, and it was formerly called Xperience. It was a ground-breaking formula when it launched and it actually meets the CC criteria that have now been set. So Xperience has become Max Factor’s CC Cream – you could say that it is the original CC Cream!
Max Factor Global Creative Design Director, Pat McGrath said: “As soon as CC creams were mentioned I said that’s Xperience. I’ve been using it for years – it’s great when you want high level coverage but your skin needs some added hydration. It’s a sheer finish that’s flawless not heavy! It’s been one of my backstage must-haves for years and it’s just perfect for creating a fresh, natural look that’s so now!”.
This is the low-down:
- It’s foundation pigments provide high-level flawless coverage
- Natural Extract: cucumber water, rose hip extract and sea buckthorn
- SPF 10
- Glycerin provides high levels of hydration to leave skin feeling moisturised, soft and smooth
I am absolutely loving this mainly because I didn’t need to use any other product to get my skin to look this flawless as it layers really well for any areas that need more coverage. I didn’t need any concealer or powder or brightener – it really is maximum results for minimal effort!
The Max Factor CC cream is available in 3 shades and costs £9.99 – in stores this month.

Thanks – it is one of the new MUA Lip Crayons. Will feature soon xx
did this last all day….?
yes it lasted on me really well xx
Can you please write the list of ingredients? Since, it has SPF 10 does it contain Octinoxate or Avobenzone?
Unfortunately, Experience has a much better shade range, although I have seen both the CC cream and Experience on sale at the same time. Are they eventually getting rid of Experience in favour of the CC Cream do you know?
Do you use a base crime underneath?
Just moisturiser underneath 🙂
