MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Matic Waterproof Glide-On Eyeshadow Review, Swatch

When I first popped in to Sephora in New York last week, I couldn’t stay long as there was somewhere we had to be. I managed to grab the MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Matic in shade ME-54 (metallic pinky beige) and quickly swatched it on my hand. The following day, and after showering, it was still there. I had to have it!

MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Matic is an eyeshadow crayon with a super creamy formula that promises long-wear, creaseless coverage. I opted for the shade ME-54 (metallic pinky beige) because I thought it was super pretty and not only would it look lovely ow it’s own but it would make the nicest long-wear primer too.

It’s really easy to use. I just draw it on to my lids and then smudge it out with my finger. It blends really easily and also layers well if you wish to increase the intensity. The formula does indeed glide on, as the name would suggest, and once it is set, there’s no budging it. It did, however, come off really very nicely with my Melvita Milky Cleansing Oil – no rubbing required.

It’s a twist up and retractable pencil and it also has a sharpener on the other end for more precision work. I wish I had picked up a few more colours as this is seriously high performance stuff! LOVE it!
