  • Convenient chubby stick format
  • Super-blendable formulation
  • Sets to a natural finish
  • Mess-free application
  • Perfect for on-the-go

I really love the texture of this stick. It glides on to the skin straight from the bullet and blends out really easily. It has a gorgeous glossy formula that’s very kind to dehydarted skin so it works brilliantly around the eyes and the sides of the nose.

It covers darkness under the eyes and also any redness on the skin. The coverage is pretty good and very buildable without being cakey.

MAC Studio Fix Perfecting Stick Shades & Swatches

There are 16 shades available: NC15, NC20, NC25, NC30, NC35, NC42, NC45, NC50, NW15, NW20, NW25, NW30, NW35, NW40, NW45, NW50.

I have NW20 and NC30 to show you:

NW20 is the one for me and it has gone straight into my handbag. It is really quick and easy to pull out of your handbag and just draw on where you need it and then blend out with your fingertips. So it’s the ideal thing to have on hand when you need to refresh your makeup. It has a really natural looking finish on the skin and leaves a nice hydrated look.

There another addition to the range too. The MAC Studio Fix Perfecting Powder. I haven’t been able to try this properly as I only have the shade medium which is too dark, but the texture is lovely. It is a pro-quality loose powder designed to set makeup with sheer coverage and skin nourishing ingredients. Sounds like a great option if you are on the look out for a light yet effective powder.

The MAC Studio Fix Perfecting Stick is £16 and is available at these links below:

  • Hi Ree,

I was looking at the main photo of you… Can you please tell me how you achieved the highlight colours on your hair?

    Thanks!!

    • it’s quite an old pic – but I think it was the L’Oreal Wild Ombres if I am talking about the right pic!

  • Hi! I always use Mac’s studio fix fluid foundation in NW25. I really want to try this concealer, but I don’t really know what shade to order. I was thinking maybe NW20? What do you think?

    • I am so sorry – I am not really sure. The only MAC foundation I use at the moment is Waterweight which apparently isn’t one a standard match. Sorry x
