MAC’s lastest collaboration for Summer 2014 is with fashion designer Pedro Lourenco, and they have teamed up to create a limited edition collection beautifully packaged in soft mattes with gold accents. Here are a couple of very gorgeous items from the MAC Pedro Lourenco Collection.

Right so I am totally obsessed with the packaging!! Here’s a close look at the MAC Pedro Lourenco Powder Blush Duo:

And it isn’t just pretty packaging!! As you can see the MAC Pedro Lourenco Powder Blush in Corol compact contains 2 blush shades. MAC describes them as a light coral pink and a mid-tones neutral plum. You can use them together or use the lighter shade over the whole cheek area and use the plum as a soft pop of colour right on the apples. It’s very pretty – I shall show what it looks like on soon.

I love Lady Danger. It is a beautiful orangey red and I love the amplified finish – beautifully creamy with a soft sheen. For me, lipstick has a lot to do with ‘purse appeal’ so the packaging is particularly important. The MAC bullet looks beautiful in it’s soft matte finish and the gold is stunning. This is a complete winner for me and I have decided that orange is my lip of the summer!

I absolutely adore the pieces I have from the MAC Pedro Lourenco Collection and if you like MAC’s simple packaging I think you could fall in love with this sexy, chic take on it. It launches in June 2014.

Approximately 2 weeks ago, I needed to find a awesome, not too expensive foundation and thank goodness there was a lady there that helped me who was exactly my age ! I have been meaning to try MAC for some time but because of my age I did not feel comfortable going to MAC because it is a “hip” brand for young adults, not someone who’s 52 tomorrow ! I was so happy to find an awesome foundation and because I was really running late the Associate picked color C-4 for me. In all my years of wearing make-up I never thought this line would work for me. Wrong, the best make-up I have ever used. I told the “associate” I would be back to pick up some “blush”, also “some “gorgeous lipstick shades she took the time to show me. The affordable price is what drew me to MAC because if I told you ALL the make-up not just foundation, check blush, lipsticks, etc. I can open my own store! I just love MAC and love the new blushes and lipsticks ! Thank you MAC and thanks Really Ree ! The colors you have shown are awesome and I need to catch a break I want to try these colors that you have “swatched” and look unbelieveable !
