Being a lover of all makeup crayons, I pretty much pounced on this L’Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer when I saw it in Duane Reade (sorry to keep going on about NYC). The True Match line has been very well received here in the UK and although I haven’t yet tried the foundation, I did really love the Lumi Magique which I think has now become part of the True Match range.

We don’t have the Crayon Concealer here, and I am not sure we ever will as it appears to have been available in the US since 2012. We do however have the True Match Perfecting Concealer which is on my list to try.
I have shade Fair/Light n1-2-3 and there are 6 shades in total which cross the warm and neutral range.

The sell here is that you can use the tip for small concealing and the edge for larger areas which works really well. Here is a before picture:

Here it is freshly (and rather generously) applied:

And here it is blended in:

I think this works best on well moisturised skin, and Fair/Light n1-2-3 is really good for brightening. It is creamy, but not quite as hydrating as I’d liked so I think it’s great for your base when you are doing it for the first time, but not so good for top ups, as it could be a little drying. I prefer a liquid concealer like Charlotte Tilbury’s Retoucher or Estee Lauder’s Brush on Glow BB for on the go.
I really like the L’Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer on the whole. It is easy and super convenient, leaves a lovely bright finish on the skin and actually lasts really well, as it is solid enough to really fix to the skin. Coverage is medium I’d say, which is perfect for me. As I said, it probably won’t come to the UK, but if you like the sound of it, you can pick it up on Amazon or Ebay.

Really like the sound of this! I hope I can find it somewhere online. Would like to buy a darker shade and use it for contouring!
