L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Mousse
I love a self-tan mousse and I am a big fan of the L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Golden Mousse. It’s really affordable – currently £10.99 at Superdrug (RRP £14.99) and it really does perform well.
I easily like it as much as…
… the higher end mousses I have used including St. Tropez. I even like it as much as my most recent favourite, Lauren’s Way (the tanning range from TOWIE’s Lauren Goodger) and it is considerably cheaper than both!
I rate this highly on both its instant results and how it develops. The instant colour is fab. Applied with a mitt, it gives a lovely golden, natural looking glow to the skin and is really easy to apply as the instant colour guide let’s you see exactly where you’ve been.
The fact that it has instant colour that dries really quickly means you can use it on the day you need the tan, which I did. I didn’t find any transfer on to my clothes – fab.
The development colour was lovely too – a nice natural golden colour was revealed after showering off the colour guide which only slightly showed up in my shower water.
I didn’t find any streaks or patches and was extremely impressed with how even the colour looked. It also faded really well. It was a completely even fade with no patches of colour clinging to drier areas which is often the case.
I would say it needed a top up after 2 to 3 days and this could be achieved with minimal prep due to its even fade.
In terms of the DHA smell, it is detectable but it is not ‘in your face’ either. It is quite mild though and certainly didn’t present any problems for a fake tan old timer like me! At the end of the day, all products that contains DHA will present the DHA at some point as the tan takes.
I am giving the L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Mousse a massive thumbs up. I loved it and if I had to use it forever, I really wouldn’t complain.
L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Mousse is available in Boots, Superdrug and leading Supermarkets. Call 0800 030 4032 for more info on stockist.
If you love a mousse I really think you’ll love this.
Have you tried it yet?

  • I have never written a review for anything but have to recommend this false tan foam! It’s simply the best tan I have ever used! I was amazed how easily it’s goes on. It spreads evenly and absorbs fast. It’s a gorgeous golden colour when it’s applied and intensifies quickly. But the main difference between this tan and every other fake tan is that their are no streaks, not anywhere, not on your hands, heels, elbows…..NONE! And you can apply with your bare hands without too much staining at all. I washed my hands in between body parts and rubbed some vaseline in to stop it absorbing and was left with little more than warmish looking palms, hardly worth mentioning at all. You are a little tacky after application and it does have “that” smell, but it’s worth the absolutely flawless result! Also you get loads of applications from one bottle. Very natural result. Buy it xxx
