I was really keen to try the new L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Balm Noir mascara because I usually have great success with L’Oreal mascaras. This is the brand’s first balm-in-mascara and there has been a lot of interest around it. Here’s how I got on – I have before and after photos too.

I have to say, I am super impressed with this with the L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Balm Noir mascara. I have been wearing it all week, and I have literally been able to apply and forget about it.
It was only when I was assessing how long-lasting my foundation was for my LORAC Pro Soft Focus Longwear Foundation Review, that I realised how reliable it was. It kind of quietly does it’s job, even in the extreme heat and humidity.
I only really notice my mascara when it smudges, so this is a really good sign.
I love the fact that it contains kind-to-lashes ingredients, and that it’s performance isn’t at all compromised by the 99% natural ingredients. That’s pretty impressive.
You can go for a nice subtle effect, or layer it up for more of a chunky, spidery effect, which is how I like it. An important note, it’s really easy too remove too.
I’d definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a nice super-black mascara and stays put.
