I have a couple of samples and I am very pleased about it. Here is the new L’Oreal Paris True Match Highlight Liquid Glow Illuminator range with swatches.

I am excited because I am obsessed with highlighter! These already existed in a slightly different format in the US as I have seem some similar, yet chunkier packaging.

There are three shades in total, and I have two of them right here.

I have Icy Glow (301.R/C) and Golden Glow (101. D/W):

The other shade I don’t have is Rosy Glow, but you can see it here in the snapchat update from L’Oreal Paris a while back.

What I think is really impressive about these highlighters is after blending, they set very well and really last, yet they feel light on the skin. I usually like a powder highlight because I have combination skin, but the longevity of these liquids make them very appealing. I haven’t tried this yet but you are supposed to be able to apply these under foundation as a glowy primer, or mix them into foundation for added radiance in the finish.

Personally, I’ll think I will be mainly using Icy Glow as a highlight, and you can go for subtle glow or build up to a strobe effect.

I think the Golden Glow shade is gorgeous on eyelids too for a wash of radiant colour. It’s also great lightly blended into the apples of my cheeks for a bit of warmth on my pale skin. Fab!
