Shades & Swatches
I have been testing this out and I like it quite a lot. It’s nice and hydrating, and easy to blend.
The coverage of this concealer has been designed to be pretty light and hydrating, and L’Oreal says that won’t need the same colour matching precision as you would with a foundation, hence there being just eight shades:
- 1-2D Ivory Beige
- 1-2R – Rose Porcelain
- 3-5.5R – Peach
- 3.5N – Natural Beige
- 5.5-7N – Amber
- 7.5-9D – Golden Honey
- 9-11N Truffle
- 10-12R – Espresso

I have shades Rose Porcelain, Ivory Beige and Natural Beige to show you:

Because it’s super sheer, I can use Rose Porcelain or Ivory Beige (or a mix of the two) with similar results.
My Review of the L’Oreal Paris True Match Eye Cream in a Concealer

I know that this has been specifically formulated for the eye area, but I find it also works really well all over to conceal redness, reduces the appearance of pigmentation, and basically brighten up anywhere the skin is a bit dull. It has a nice hydrating texture and feels soft and silky on the skin.
I used Ivory Beige with more of the Rose Porcelain under the eyes. For reference, my most recent match in the foundation is shade 1.N Ivory, although the below photo shows the concealer only, applied to all my areas of redness and uneven skin tone.

My Top Tip for Fuller Coverage
It is fairly sheer coverage but I have a little hack to get it to provide a bit more coverage. If you apply a generous amount to the skin, then leave it for a couple of minutes before blending, it becomes more opaque. That’s a trick I always use for my beloved YSL Touch Eclat and it works for this too.
