A whole lot of people are starting to appreciate the benefits of using gentle acids on the skin for renewal and radiance and one of the easiest ways to carry out this step is with peel pads. I have been checking out the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Glycolic Peel Pads which have been a huge success in the US. They have finally launched in the UK and I have all the information you need right here. It’s great to see a product like this available on the high street.
This is the extra step in your skincare if you want a non-abrasive exfoliator to help reveal your skin’s natural radiance. It will work to reduce the look of texture, enlarged pores and fine lines and wrinkles, and also allow your subsequent skincare products to penetrate more effectively.
There are 30 peel pads in a tub, so you have enough in one tub to exfoliate your skin for a month. And after 30 days, we are told to expect some impressive results.
L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Glycolic Peel Pads Features

Why Exfoliate with Glycolic Acid?
Exfoliation is key if you want a bright, radiant and smooth complexion. When your skin is young, it does a pretty good job at exfoliating itself. However, as you get older, the rate that your skin renews itself starts to slow down which can result in dullness, more texture and uneven skintone.
If you are into your skincare, you’ll know that dermatologists consider Glycolic Acid to be the gold standard ingredient to encourage skin to renew itself. It works to dissolve the bonds that hold on to dead cells and helps it shed what it doesn’t need. This boosts cell turnover and results in smoother, more even skin that glows. Who doesn’t want that?!
What I like about these pads is that you can choose which side to use depending on how sensitive your skin is. The side with microgrids adds a mechanical exfoliation action, while the other side is smoother for a more gentle exfoliation.
L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Glycolic Peel Pads Clinical Results
Tests have shown that after just one use, the skin is smoother. After 30 days of daily use, wrinkles are reduced by 30% and dark spots are reduced by 21%. Also, L’Oreal claim that two additional cell layers are renewed within the epidermis.
L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Glycolic Peel Pads Ingredients
Aqua / Water, Alcohol Denat, Hydroxyethylpiperazine Ethane Sulfonic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Glycolic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Allantoin, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Panthenol, Phenoxyethanol, Linalool, Limonene, Hexyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Salicylate, Parfum / Fragrance
They are super easy to use. You wipe one pad over the whole face after cleansing, avoiding eye and lip area. They feel gentle on the skin. You don’t rinse but simply follow with your regular skincare.
After 30 days, you should be seeing bright, smooth, more even-toned skin. Make sure you use an SPF everyday and don’t use them daily if you are incorporating other acids into your regime.
I think these are really interesting because you can’t usually get this kind of product on the high street and it’s a serious offering. 10% is the maximum percentage for Glycolic acid even on the high end, and this is 9.6%. That’s a high level of Glycolic in an affordable, easily available format.
