How exciting do the new L’Oreal Paris Infallible Magic Essence Drops, also referred to as the Prepping Essence, look? Essence is one of my favourite words, and as this stuff is blue and very intriguing, I literally couldn’t wait to try it out. Here’s the low down.
So this cute little launch is all about getting radiant and revlitalised skin. I love products like these because I love to have a really hydrated, smooth and glowy base on which to apply foundation, and these drops have been designed to do just that.

I know that the blue could look a bit scary but personally it makes me love it more because it reminds me of one of my favourite ever skincare serums, the NIOD CAIS!
I have struggled to find a full ingredients list for this, but hopefully I should have some information on this soon.
The L’Oreal Paris Infallible Magic Essence Drops have a lovely texture. Although they look a little glittery in the bottle, this doesn’t translate on to the skin at all, which is also the case with the blue colour.
It leaves the skin really nice and smooth, and not at all greasy. It feels plump and hydrated and it creates a lovely base for foundation to sit on. I don’t see much extra brightening, maybe a touch, but the texture of the skin after application is great. Also, I think the skin does seem more illuminated once the makeup is on. It is also, really light and doesn’t feel clogging or heavy on the skin, even on my oilier t-zone, so I think I will probably get quite a lot of use out of this.
You could layer it up over high points of the face for enhanced glow. I am going to use it under the new Infallible More Than Concealer next and see how that goes. Stay tuned for that.
The L’Oreal Paris Infallible Magic Essence Drops is £9.99 and available HERE now (currently on a 3 for 2).
