L’Or Electric from L’Oreal Paris |
Last week I popped along to the launch of L’Oreal’s new L’Or Electric Collection created the celebrate L’Oreal Paris’ 15 years as the official makeup sponsor of the Cannes Film Festival.
Keep reading to check out my photos of me playing with the collection.
I had the special treatment from the fab makeup artist who put some gorgeous eye makeup on me. You can really see it too well in this shot, but I thought I’d share it with you anyway.

The new L’Or Electric collection is a limited edition range that it inspired by 80s glamour – “post-modernism, Studio 54, fluorescent colours, new wave and the beginning of electronic music”. This is the 2012 take on the fabulousness of the 80s.
I love the lipsticks! They contain omega-3 oils and vitamin E to prevent lips from drying out.

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche L’Or Electric Lipsticks – Metallic Coral |
I wore Metallic Coral for a whole day out last week. It even survived lunch and I only needed to re-apply once. It was much more long lasting than I was expecting and it extremely moisturising.
Next up are the L’Or Electic Color Infallible eyeshadows. These are quite special – they have a fab two tone finish and a gorgeous luminosity. L’Or Electric brings us 2 new shades Metallic Lilac and Metallic Coral.

L’Or Electic Color Infallible eyeshadows |
You can apply the eyeshadow like a cream but it has the staying power of a powder “thanks to a special adhesive polymer network” that offers 24 hour colour. It gives a beautiful finish that stays put.
I used the coral all over the lid and then applied the lilac to the outer corner and the socket. I didn’t know whether they go well together but I wanted to see how well they would layer.

They layered very easily and I like them together too! They cost £6.99 each.

I used a little slick of L’Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara on top of my lashes that have been root lifted and colour boosted by Sue Marsh.
The final part of the collection are the new shades for Color Riche Nail. I haven’t managed to try these out yet but expect to see them here in a nail post very soon.

I’m loving the nail polishes! L’Oreal have really stepped up, can’t wait for this collection to hit the shops!
Loving the fuchsia and coral lippies and the pink nail polish. I like the colours of the eyeshadows, too, but they seem a bit pale for me.
The electric fuchsia colour is stunning, I need! xx
