I have been using a skincare duo that I just love and genuinely feel that it’s had a real impact on the appearance and feel of my skin. Check out my anti-ageing, hydrating and skin brightening beauties, L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Lotion and Cream!
I have only really used L’Occitane for handcream before (love!) but never anything on my face, so I am really pleased that I was introduced to this little duo because I truly would never have found it myself.
L’Occitane recently relaunched their Immortelle Divine Skincare range following a huge research and development project. Divine Cream was already the brand’s global best seller but when it relaunched it came back even stronger with a complex of seven patented active plant extracts to tackle lines, wrinkles, skin pigmentation, sagging, lack of radiance and firmness.
The Hospital of Marseilles conducted a clinical trial on 100 women over a period of 6 months to measure both the immediate and long-term effects on the skin:
- 21% Visible reduction in the appearance of wrinkles
- 27% Increased firmness and facial contour definition
- 85% of women saw visible reduction in the appearance of dark spots
Now I haven’t been using it for 6 months, it will be 6 weeks soon, however, I feel that I am definitely noticing improvements already.
Now let me just back up a bit. The newest addition to the L’Occitane Immortelle Divine range is the lotion which isn’t a lotion as we know it, but more of a pre-moisturising step.

L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Lotion Review |
I am just going to put this out there, I am completely in love with it! I love an extra step in my skincare routine, and never have I enjoyed an extra step quite like this one! The L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Lotion is a super light, watery serum type thing (?), well thicker than water, but more watery than serum and slightly milky looking! Gosh I am really failing to describe it but stare hard into the palm of my hand above and just know that I love it!
I pop a few drops into my hand, press it between my palms and them smooth and press it all over my face. It literally feels like my skin is drinking, no, guzzling it up! It feels soft and cool and refreshing and hydrating and gorgeous! After about 30 seconds to a minute, it has completely absorbed into my skin leaving it glowing and bright. Lovely!!
I then apply the sumptuous L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream which feels absolutely incredible. It is a thick luxurious cream but it isn’t heavy or sticky in any way. A little goes a long way and it leaves a beautiful moisturised, velvet finish on my skin that is super confortable and the perfect smooth base for makeup.
All in all my skin is more glowy and bright, the tone is more even, my pores seem tighter and my pigmentation is less obvious. I think my skin is firmer and bouncier too, in fact I am pretty sure it is. I have been getting lots of compliments on the condition of my skin so that is always wonderful!
L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Cream costs £72 for 50ml and the Lotion is £38 for 200ml. I am totally recommending this and think it is absolutely perfect for parched winter skin that needs serious hydration and an anti-ageing boost.
You can buy L’Occitance products in L’Occitane stores, John Lewis, Debenhams, and Feel Unique. There are some fabulous Christmas gifts available too.

Lovely review! It sounds like a great product, they are a bit pricey I have to say although every review I’ve read of this range is very positive, so I’m very tempted to get this next year :o). Xx
