I packed this little tube of wonder, the L’Occitane Frisson de Verveine Ice Gel, in my hand luggage for my flight to New York as I always end up getting really hot and swollen feet. It turned out to be quite a hit with my son and lovely travel partner, Ben, too. It got some serious use during both long haul flights!
Frisson de Verveine is the most amazingly fresh and summery scent. It is really uplifting with notes of citrus and bergamot, verbena and cucumber, with a soft base of musk and cedarwood. It’s a unisex number which Ben was pleased to hear when he was slathering the Frisson de Verveine Ice Gel over his legs to cool down during the flight home. It was really effective particularly just behind the knees and definitely relieved his discomfort.
It is so refreshingly cool and felt absolutely amazing on my feet which always feel uncomfortable when I am flying. I have since been using it at my desk on my legs and feet for when I have been sitting a little too long and everything starts to ache. The Ice Gel contains a blend of Cypress and Marshmallow which help to make your legs feel super light and it rolls out on an ice cold metal roller ball. Love it!
The L’Occitane Frisson de Verveine collection includes a Fresh Shower Gel, Cooling Body Gel, Refreshing Body Mist (love this too), Bath Salts and Hand Cream Gel along with the Ice Gel for Legs and Feet. It all launches nationwide from July 2014 just in time to seriously cool you down for summer. Prices start at £8 – the Ice Gel is £20.
