I have been using this little duo pretty consistently for the last 4 or 5 months and I absolutely love them. As you know, I try so many different skincare products but these have been making so many regular appearances in my skincare regime that I am starting to think about when I’ll need replacements. That doesn’t happen very often. The Liz Earle Superskin range sits right in my sweet spot because it’s for more mature or dry skin. My dehydrated skin loves it!

Apart from a bit of post long haul flight post traumatic stress, my skin literally has not had one dry patch since I have been using this duo. I actually started with the Liz Earle Superskin moisturiser and then got into the concentrate about a month later. What I love is that they work really well for both day and night, so when I want to simplify my skincare regime, this is what I go back to.

Sometimes I get a bit too jazzy – you know, too much exfoliation and chopping and changing too much – and it doesn’t take long for my skin to start getting a bit angry about it. A few days back on a pump of concentrate followed by the moisturisier brings it back to a state of calm.

This is absolutely perfect for dry skin. I use one dip for day and 2 for night. It is really rich yet still light on my skin and it sinks in really effectively without leaving anything looking greasy. It is super hydrating and instantly smoothes and plumps my skin. It feel really comfortable and my makeup applies perfectly over it.

I use the unscented one and it does have a bit of a funky aroma. But I really like that because I can smell the actual ingredients – it smells like it works! Liz Earle Superskin Moisturiser uses omega 3, cranberry, borage and rosehip seed oils to replenish and rejuvenate.

My skin absolutely loves oils and this one is so calming and smoothing, I feel like my skin literally drinks it up! This has been created for night time use but I actually like to use half a pump under my moisturiser for day to keep my skin looking soft and dewy. I also love to put a tiny drop into my foundation to really get my skin glowing. I’m obsessed with ‘glow’ as you know, and this is a great little trick.

It is brilliant for any dry patches and I often pop it on my hairline which can get really dry and sore during the winter month. When I wake up in the morning, the redness is really reduced.

Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate smells amazing too. You get a real hit of neroli. It also contains argan oil and rosehip oil and works really well if I ever have a spot which you may find surprising.

  • Love them both although can’t always afford to use them. I do however use Skin Repair very regularly, I adore it! Have you tried the new Superskin with neroli? I was lucky to have been given a small pot and it is beautiful xx

    • I haven’t tried it yet but really want to. I like the sounds of the pomegranate oil in it! xx
