Exciting news for the UK, innovative, high performance makeup brand Le Metier de Beaute is arriving back in the UK in time for Autumn. It’s a super luxurious offering and I have been testing one of the skin products and absolutely loving it. This is glowing skin in a bottle – here’s the low down on Le Metier de Beaute Peau Vierge Anti Aging Complexe.

In case you aren’t familiar with the brand, which I wasn’t really, here’s a bit of history. The brand was created by designer and founder Richard Blanch who felt the makeup products he was working with lacked the quality he desired. So he teamed up with chemists and strategic partners and created his own brand.

Le Metier de Beaute Peau Vierge is one of the cult products that beauty junkies rave about. It is a tinted moisturiser with anti-ageing benefit that promises to perfect and illuminate the complexion.  The coverage is sheer but is skin perfecting, so you may need less coverage than you think.

I have Shade 2 which is described as a true neutral beige. It is a tad darker than I would normally use but it adds a very natural looking warmth to my skin.

As I said, the coverage is sheer but the finish is so pretty. It gives the skin a soft golden glow and a beautiful plumped look. Love it. This will be perfect for minimal makeup days or under foundation for an extra flawless, glowing look. Or you could simply top up the coverage with foundation. And then there’s the skincare element which promises skin improvement over time. I can’t properly test that right now though. If I can update on that, I will.

Le Metier de Beaute Peau Vierge is pricey, £135, so it’s definitely one for the lovers of luxury that are feeling spendy! It launches HERE on 6th September 2016.

  • I love all things Le Metier but in the US, their marketing was horrible. Everything was limited addition, only 100 pieces made. . . It made me feel horrible about myself being out there always stalking and chasing the latest. I stopped buying anything Le Metier. I hope things are better for you in the UK.
