My obsession with Juicy Tubes in the nineties was huge. I had a massive collection and when certain shades were discontinued I used to track them down on Ebay. It was almost like a cult. It’s been quite a while since I have had one in my stash so I was super excited to try out Lancome’s latest juicy phenomenon, the brand new Lancome Juicy Shaker. Here’s the low down.

So these look really different and anyone that likes a bit of newness will not be able to resist picking these up.

Lancome Juicy Shaker Features
- Bi phased formula lip gloss
- Pairs nourishing lip oils with pigments
- Gives a plump but natural looking, glossy finish
- Contain sweet almond oil, omega 3 and cranberry oil
- Soft cushion applicator hugs the lips and applies the right dose of pigment
- Gloss melts onto the lips
- Applicator absorbs just the right dose of pigment
- Non sticky and non drying
- 13 shades and one limited edition shade, 400 mint to be

So this is the kind of lip product you really need to try because application is quite a different experience and sensation. The sponge applicator is super soft and kind of collapses on to your lips, gently working in the product without going over the lip line. It is strangely precise for such a large tip. It kind of massages in the oil, which smells and feels gorgeous.

With the Lancome Juicy Shaker you can go for a sheer slick of oil and the more you shake up the bottle, the more intensely the pigment applies. You get a glossy finish and as the oil absorbs into your lips, you are left with a stain that lasts. You’ll need to reapply to throughout the day if you want to maintain a glossy finish.

I have 2 shades to show you – Wonder Melon and Mangoes Wild:

Wonder Melon:

Mangoes Wild:

Wonder Melon takes me all the way back to my Watermelon Juicy Tube and just that makes it a total favourite! I love them – they are amazing for dry lips and look so pretty too. The one thing I will say though is that they did have a tendency to bleed a tiny bit into the lines around my lips. It wasn’t really noticeable in person, but I just spotted it in one of the pics. Other than that, these are perfect!
The Lancome Juicy Shaker line up is out now and they cost £18. Find every available colour HERE.

I love the idea of these but I’m too sure about how well they show up on pigmented lips. Love how Mangoes WIld looks on you!
