If you love glow, then you will be really happy about the brand new highlighter launch from Lancome. The ‘Glow Drops’ trend isn’t going anywhere and now Lancome have brought out their very own, rather gorgeous version. The brand new Lancome Custom Drops Liquid Highlighter joins the Teinte Idole Ultra Wear range in four different shades. I have them all here with photos and swatches.

As you know, I am all about the glow so I was super keen to try them out. I adore the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops and so wanted to see how these compare.

Lancome Custom Drops Shades & Swatches
There are four shades to choose from:
- Champagne Glow – for a fresh sparkle
- Rose Glow – for a deeper effect to subtly warm the skin
- Golden Glow – for a warm touch of sunshine
- Bronze Glow – deeper tones to warm the complexion

Champagne Glow, Rose Glow, Golden Glow, Bronze Glow:

The texture of these liquid highlighters is lovely. They are smooth and blendable, and mix really easily into foundation as well as blending effortless straight on to the skin. I love the champagne shade mixed into foundation to really brighten and add a juicy look to the skin. Also, Rose Glow is beautiful just mixed into moisturiser to give the skin a little ‘something something’ if you can’t be bothered with makeup. It really wakes up the face.

As highlighters, they are easy to work with and the Bronze Glow is great for deeper skin tones. I’d also use this to warm up foundation for the summer and of course add a good dose of glow. The texture is thicker than the Cover FX so they are slightly harder to dispense via the dropper, but you only need a tiny bit so you can just dab the applicator where you need it.

Hey,
I came across your post for these Lancôme glow drops and the cover fx drops. Basically I’ve run out of my Lancôme rose glow glow drops and been trying to buy a new one but it seems to be out of stock almost everywhere – online and otherwise.
So I was wondering if you could tell me what the closest shade would be to the cover fx range? It’s kind of hard to tell from the swatches and drop shades, but the closest two seem to be either blossom or rose gold? Which would you recommend?
Hello – personally I would say rose gold is closer. Fingers crossed!! xxx
